Overall phentermine seems to be fairly
well accepted. It may generate side effects consistent with
its catecholamine-releasing properties, e.g., tachycardia
(increased heart rate) and increased blood pressure, however
the occurrence and magnitude of these seem to be less than
using the amphetamines. Simply because phentermine works
through sympathomimetic path ways, the pill may increase blood
pressure and heart rate. It could also result in palpitations,
trouble sleeping, and sleeping disorders. In addition,
phentermine has the potential to cause psychological
dependence. Most Common
